Who can Participate

A. FOREIGN BUYERS

1. BUYER PARTICIPANTS FROM:

Participation of Buyers in PHITEX is by invitation only.

2.CRITERIA IN INVITING BUYERS

• Buyers who are selling Asia but not the Philippines;
• Buyers who are not selling the Philippines but would like to expand their programs to include the Philippines;
• Buyers who have included the Philippines in the past programs but have dropped us; and
• Buyers coming from non-potential markets;
• Qualified buyers should not be less than a product manager/director.

3.GUIDELINES FOR PROSPECTIVE FOREIGN BUYERS

• All Buyers must confirm their participation in PHITEX using the Buyer Agreement Form which must be submitted within the prescribed deadline;
• Confirmation of BUYER is made only after receipt of duly accomplished Online Registration, approval of the Buyer Screening Committee and submission of the duly signed copy of Buyer Agreement; and
• Amenities or privileges will be extended by the PHITEX Secretariat to HOSTED Buyers (e.g. airline tickets, accommodation, meals, tours and transportation on specified route) do not automatically apply to the Buyer's accompanying persons.

B. PHILIPPINE SELLERS

1. PROSPECTIVE PARTICIPANTS FROM:

• Airlines
• Hotels/Resorts
• Tour Operators
• Convention Facilities
• Incentive Organizers
• Congress Organizers
• Other Tourism Related Establishments

2. PARTICIPATION FEE

PHITEX 2009 RATE FOR seller delegates are as follows:

For Philippine Seller applicants with Exhibitors Booth at the Philippine Travel Mart (PTM)

For Philippine Seller applicants without Exhibitors Booth at the PTM

Entitlements:

• 1 Seller Badge
• 1 Company profile listing in the Event Directory
• 1 Directory of Buyers
• Set of pre-scheduled appointment with buyers
• Entry to Welcome and Closing Social Functions
